YEARLY ACCESS FEE FOR E-PERMIT SERVICES
Please be informed that all registered e-Permit subscribers for communication and multimedia products are subjected to yearly access fee of RM50.00/year. This yearly access fee was stated in e-Permit Subscriber Agreement under Clause 9: Applicable Charges - The Subscriber shall pay all fees and charges to SIRIM QAS International as set out in Schedule 1 annexed hereto. All registered subscribers which are not yet paid their yearly access fee are advised to make settlement for item 3 of the Schedule 1 of the same agreement.
Please refer to SCHEDULE 1, Attachment No. 7.

Dear Valued Customer,
ADDITIONAL BAND FOR MALAYSIAN LTE NETWORK.
Please be informed that effective from 18th March 2013, SKMM had added Band 3 (1800 MHz) in addition to Band 7 (2600 MHz) for LTE network in Malaysia .
Any LTE consumer device and network equipment that support Band 3 and Band 7 are subjected to Type Approval.

For device or equipment that has been previously type approved for Band 7 only but also supports Band 3, kindly submit your application for the same model under Parallel by Comparison.
However, evaluation fee is only applicable for Band 3. Applicant may request to terminate the previous approval (without Band 3).

Dear Valued Customers,
IMPORT PERMIT APPLICATION FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) / NETWORKING PRODUCT CATEGORY
Please be informed that IT/Networking product which is intended to be connected behind devices that provide adequate network protection for Public Telecommunications Network is excluded from certification either Type Approval or Special Approval.
Nevertheless, import permit is still required under Custom Act 1967 (Prohibition of Import 2008).
The applicant shall submit an application under the IT/Networking Product category at <A tabIndex="-1" href="http://ecomm.sirim.my/">

An OTH file number (e.g. SQASI/OTH/YEAR/XXXX; where XXXX is the file reference number) will be generated for each application and this file number is to be used during application for importation with DagangNet Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (<A tabIndex="-1" href="http://www.dagangnet.com.my/">

Kindly be noted that effective from 1st March 2013, the OTH file number shall be utilized for first and subsequent Import Permit application with regards to the same company and product (model number and brand).

NOTICE ON SAMPLE SUBMISSION FOR TYPE APPROVAL EVALUATION OF COMMUNICATION AND MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT
Please be informed that sample submission and fee payment for any Type Approval applications are to be made by 12.00pm of the application’s scheduled date.
Kindly take note that an application will be automatically cancelled if we do not receive the required sample and no payment settlement is made by 12.00 pm on the scheduled date. A request to re-schedule a cancelled date may be done officially via email to the officer in-charge of your application. Re-schedule of application will be subjected to a surcharge of RM100.00 per application.
Please be advised that for Parallel application, sample submission is not required.
